Day 01 Arrival in Darjeeling

Soon after your arrival at the New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra Airport (IXB), the Swan Tours representative will greet you and transfer you to the hotel pre-booked for your visit. Darjeeling is known to be one of the most sought-after tourist destinations in the Northeast, where you can witness snow-clad mountains, lush green tea gardens, valleys, and much more. Upon reaching the hotel, complete the check-in formalities and stay overnight after exploring the nearby markets.

Day 02 Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

Early morning at 4:00 AM, depart for a guided drive to Tiger Hill (Subject to availability of Permit/Token from the respective authority) to witness the breathtaking sunrise, which is one of the major attractions for tourists visiting this place. After the visit, return to the hotel. After breakfast, proceed with your tour to Ghoom Monastery, Peace Memorial, and Batasia Loop. Following this, spend time visiting Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Ropeway, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Center, Tea Estate, Natural History Museum (Closed on Sundays), and Peace Pagoda, as well as the Mall shopping area for souvenirs. After returning to the hotel, stay overnight after dinner.

Day 03 Transfer to Gangtok

After finishing your morning breakfast, you will experience the guided transfer to Gangtok from Darjeeling, which is approximately 3 to 4 hours away. Gangtok is the capital city famous for its captivating beauty of valleys, flora, mountains, and much more. Upon reaching Gangtok, you will visit several places, namely Directorate of Handicrafts and Handloom, Research Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten (Stupa), Enchey Monastery, White Hall, and Flower Exhibition. After the day concludes, check into the pre-booked hotel and stay overnight.

Day 04 Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir

After breakfast, embark on a trip to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir, which are among the most sacred pilgrimage sites of Gangtok. After this, you will head to Nathu La Pass (permit approval is subject to government authorities' approval), which is 20 km away, before returning to Gangtok. Spend the evening shopping for souvenirs at Mall Road and stay overnight after dinner in Gangtok.

Day 05 Departure from Gangtok

Wake up to morning breakfast and start packing. Check out from the hotel in Gangtok and depart for Guwahati. Before that, explore the Research Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten, Enchey Monastery, White Hall, Flower Exhibition, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Tashi View Point, and Banjhakri Falls.
